WINE TASTING
How does it work?
Our tastings on Saturdays are open to the public and anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to book. Alone or with others.
The tasting starts at 3 pm and lasts about 2 hours - please arrive about 15 minutes before.
It includes 5 different wines in varying styles, colors and price ranges, along with a suitable snack that follows your wine tasting "theme".
Please note that the snacks are included for educational purposes and not as "filling food", so please do not come with an empty stomach.
We offer two entertaining hours and our Sommelier will guide you through the world of wine and delve a little deeper into the theme that is being offered on the particular Saturday you come to us.
If you want to stay with us after the tasting and eat or drink (or maybe even stay overnight), contact us for a good package price.
If you wish to leave your car overnight even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can do so in our lower parking lot in Slottsparken.
Cheese & Wine
We love wine, but oh how we love cheese - and together it will be magic. For two hours we will learn about wine and its production. We will taste both white and red wines and combine these with delicious cheeses.

Bubbles
The eighth wonder of the world - bubbles! The whole world loves it and so do we. For two hours we explore all the bubbles in the world and create an understanding of the differences and similarities. We serve small additions that help or (detract from) the character of the wine.

Chocolate & Wine
Wine and chocolate are a combo many people love! Why is that, and which wines actually go with which chocolate? We dive into the world of wine and learn about flavors and create an understanding of wine, its origins and what we actually like to drink.

Food & Wine
The hardest thing of all can be understanding how to combine food and wine. How should you really think, and what exactly does saltiness and acidity in the food do to the wine? We give you the knowledge and tips you need to succeed!

The bubble of bubbles. Our Rolls-Royce. Champagne. So mythical and so fantastic. Here we delve deeper into the unique region of Champagne and test ourselves to see what it has to offer.

Booking rules
We understand that things can happen in life, so it's great to be able to cancel your booking free of charge up to two weeks in advance. After that, you can rebook up to 24 hours before arrival. Rebooking is only possible if there are places left on the desired date and a maximum of 6 months in advance.
If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours, rebooking is not possible and no refund will be given.
If a gift card is used, it will also be considered used if a cancellation occurs within 24 hours.
Rebooking is only allowed once. After that, your places are used up and no refunds will be given.
Please note that when you purchase gift cards from someone other than Hotel Slottsvillan, their rules apply.
Please note that gift cards from Happy Days and Upplevels.se are not accepted and that their gift cards can only be used via their website.
